Heaven and earth were once integrated into one body that resembles an egg. Pangu slept inside, alone. When he awoke he found that he was in a vast of dark. He self-authorized himself to take action. He expanded his huge hands and cut into the darkness. Heaven and earth started to split and differentiate. Fearing that the heaven and earth may come together again, he held the heaven with his hands and planted his legs on the land. Any act of creation involves the risk of self-authorization.
